GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER NM

Our 27th National Park in our 14th State was George Washington Carver National Monument, in Diamond, MO.

There really is no reason to visit this park other than to enjoy a nice park.  Although this says National Monument as with many "National Monument National Parks" I didn't see a monument.  The park is about the life of Geroge Washington Carver and not his remarkable accomplishments and contributions ot society and agriculture.  If you was want learn about those things, this is not the place.

"It is not the style of clothes one wears, neither the kind of automobile one drives, nor the amount of money one has in the bank, that counts.  These mean nothing.  It is simply service that measures success."  George Washington Carver

He was a man that could have had it all but chose "simply service".  A very humble man.
